Margaret (Meg) was born in 1880. Margaret (Meg)'s father was Edward Henry Rowland and her mother was Francis Fanny Eyres. Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Rowland and Hannah Heslop; her maternal grandparents were George Eyres and Harriet Downer. She had six brothers and three sisters, named Edward, Thomas, Geroge, Frank, Aly, Alfred, Hannah, Nance and Fanny. She was the second oldest of the ten children. She died at the age of 80 in 1960.
