    Donald left Letton to goto Lennox Castle and work as a footcarier (butler) , this is where he met Mary Steven (she was working at Lennox too)
    
    Later returned to Letton where he had kids and eventually ended up in Devon.  (This will be altered soon)

    Donald was in the Welsh Guards between 1914-1919.

    Has lived at many places during the Army, Douglas and Cyril grew up at Woodnewton and then later moved to WhiteChapple where his employer offered another estate to manage.
    
    Lived at Southhill after the war.
    
    Donald goes Lennox and arrives safely and posts card on to sent to Parents @ Letton Lodge, August 2nd 1913, he was 16.

    Lennox was occupied by J L Kincaid-Lennoxbuild 1837-1841
    In 1890 was rented to Sir James King, the former Lord Provost of Glasgow.
    During the war the castle was employed as convalescent home for wounded soldiers, the first 6 being admitted not long after the start of the war in 1914.
    In 1927 the castle and grounds were sold to Glasgow Parish Council.
