Mary was born on February 24th, 1802.  Mary's father was James Farmer and her mother was Tamar Alcock.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Farmer and Elizabeth Worth. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, William, Richard, James, John, George, Elizabeth, Catherine, Sarah and Eleanor.  She was the fourth youngest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 85 on April 28th, 1887.
