Eleanor was born on January 18th, 1805.  Eleanor's father was James Farmer and her mother was Tamar Alcock.  Her paternal grandparents were Thomas Farmer and Elizabeth Worth. She had six brothers and four sisters, named Thomas, William, Richard, James, John, George, Elizabeth, Catherine, Sarah and Mary.  She was the second youngest of the eleven children.  She died at the age of 38 on August 18th, 1843.
