Who is Thomas Rowland?

The task of finding out who our ancesters has turned me towards looking at the records that we have and to try and build up a picture of where they were at key moments in their life. Looking closely at Thomas Rowland kids, it seems that his profession of being a police sergant takes a leading role in his life and his wife Hannah seems to be in one place or another. Also takes on the responsibilty of bringing up Edward Henry (Grandson).

Between 1855 - 1858 Thomas and Hannah get married and the live in Oakham from Sheffield, perhaps an police opening appeared and Thomas decided to make a new life in Oakham. Later they relocated to Empingham where Hannah and Eugenie appear to pass away, Thomas continues to be a policeman and later is involved with collecting rent moneys and working with the School.
